Overview
This 2 year course combines a blend of content related to the Spanish-speaking world which will equip students with the linguistic and thematic knowledge required to meet with the demands of the new exam specification. During AS Level, students acquire a more advanced set of linguistic skills through discussion and research of themes in the Hispanic World such as Hispanic Society, Artistic Culture, Multiculturalism and the political world.
Students will also learn undertake a research project based on a film or novel as well as a independent research project, culminating in a 10 minute presentation on a topic of their choice at the end of the second year.
