Record-Breaking Results

Queen's Park High School is celebrating another exceptional set of A Level outcomes, with students achieving the best results in the school's history. More than one in five grades awarded were at A* to A.

Building on strong performances in recent years, this year's cohort excelled across a wide range of subjects, reflecting the strength of the school's ambitious and broad Sixth Form curriculum. Outstanding performances were seen in both traditional academic subjects and vocational courses.

Some of our highest-achieving students include:

• Chloe Allen achieved A* Dist* A A and will progress to Oxford University to study Psychology.
• Jasmine Davies achieved A* A* A and will go on to Durham University to study Geography.
• George Tranter achieved A* A A B and will read Computer Science at Liverpool.
• Holly Dover achieved A* A A and will attend York University to study English and History.
• Alice Twigg achieved A* A B and will read Bioscience at Manchester.
• Olivia Rich achieved A A A and will go on to study Food Science at Leeds.
• Georgia Ricketts achieved Dist* Dist* Dist in Uniformed Protective Services.

Outstanding grades were also achieved by Cheryl Au, Grace Fields, Daisy Hopkins, Grace Hopkins and Sam Lewis.

What is particularly pleasing is that this continues the significant progress we have seen over recent years. These outcomes reflect the strength of our academic provision, the quality of teaching and learning, and the high expectations that underpin our Sixth Form.

Whether students are progressing to Oxford, Durham, York, Manchester, Liverpool or Leeds, beginning higher apprenticeships or entering employment, they leave us well prepared for the next stage of their lives.

This year group has demonstrated resilience, commitment and maturity throughout their time with us. They have embraced opportunities, supported one another and made a positive contribution to our school community. We look forward to seeing all they go on to achieve.
