Wondering why Mr Taylor is walking around with a proud smile today, alongside our Year 7 football team? Last night the team battled their way through the Chester & District Plate Competition & secured an impressive 3rd place finish! Special mentions go to: Emilia for keeping 3 clean sheets; Archie "Twinkle Toes" for dazzling with his close control; Oskarus for his excellent defensive strength & Alfie for demonstrating superb leadership & captaincy throughout! Netball Season is Back! It'a been a fantastic start to the term with lots of new faces at Netball Club & great support from our older students & Sixth Form leaders, helping to coach & inspire a competitive edge in our Year 7 players! Our first fixtures kicked off at the Small Schools Tournament where both the Year 9 & 10 teams played some excellent netball showing brilliant teamwork, attitude & determination throughout. Well done to everyone involved, we can't wait for the next matches! Just as a reminder... A sports report from Mr Taylor just in! Our Year 11 squad were on absolute fire at the Kings Tournament this week, taking on teams from Blacon, Kings & Upton in a brilliant showcase of school football talent! A huge shoutout to Cayleb for leading the team with calm, confident captain's leadership. Rocksolid at the back was Alex, organising the defence like a pro. And in goal... Josh "Fridge" with those lightningfast hands, pulling off saves that had the sidelines roaring.
