Our Year 12 students are already one step ahead thanks to an inspiring & informative session with Allie Swindlehurst from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP Cheshire Schools Advisor).
During their WPD lesson, Allie shared valuable insights into what employers are really looking for, from strong applications & personal conduct to interview skills & presenting yourself with confidence.
It was a fantastic all-round session, giving our students practical tips on everything from making a great first impression to dressing for success.
A huge thank you to Allie for helping our students feel confident, prepared & ready for the workplace! #FutureReady
And finally last but by no means least, Meet Murat - our new Interhouse & Sports Champion...
"As Interhouse & Sports Champion, my mission goes beyond wins and performance. It's about making every student feel capable, included, and excited to get involved.
I'll work to expand our enrichment clubs, energise interhouse competitions and introduce new activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities, so that sport isn't just for the naturally gifted, but for anyone willing to give it a go.
I know that confidence doesn't always come naturally, and for students who feel hesitant or overlooked, I want to create an environment where trying is celebrated just as much as succeeding. Whether it's through peer encouragement, accessible taster sessions, or simply making the atmosphere on the pitch and in the gym a more welcoming one, I'll push to ensure that every member of the QPHS community has a space to grow, challenge themselves, and discover what they're truly capable of."

Meet Bolaji - our new Head of Culture...
"I am honoured to introduce myself as the new Head of Culture at Queen's Park High School. I strongly believe a thriving school culture is built on respect, inclusivity and being heard.
I joined QPHS in Year 10 and felt comfortable and included in a positive atmosphere, one in which I could share my ideas and feel valued.
I am currently studying A Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology and I hope to pursue my goal of medicine in the University.
Alongside balancing studies and my new role, I want to be someone students can approach comfortably whether they need support, advice, or a confidant. I hope to contribute to a leadership team that represents students well, encourages confidence and leaves a positive impact on the school community.
I look forward to fostering an environment where every individual feels seen and my mission is to make sure every student has a place to shine, representing student voices whether it's through the arts, house competitions or celebrating our diverse heritage and culture. I'm excited to build on our rich history while creating new milestones together!
