 Free summer school for Sixth form students interested in Property and Estate Management

Year 12 - Pathways to Property Careers Summer School

Have you ever wondered how buildings are developed, who is responsible for managing them or how much they are worth? The fully-funded Pathways to Property Summer School from 24-27 July 2017  taking place at Henley Business School at the University of Reading, offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the property industry and to find out about the range of exciting careers available in the sector. The property industry is worth over £9 billion and employs over 100,000 people in the UK.

The Summer School offers you the chance to:

  • Take part in lectures, seminars, talks and site visits led by staff and students from the School of Real Estate & Planning at the University of Reading.
  • Explore current themes in property such as sustainability, housing issues and regenerating cities and find out how real estate and planning courses build on the knowledge you acquire through A Level (or equivalent) study.
  • Develop an understanding of the career opportunities in property by attending activities led by recent graduates and industry professionals.
  • Learn more about student life and study in higher education by taking part in campus tours and evening activities.

How much does it cost?

It’s free! There are no costs to attend, and food, accommodation and travel costs are all provided.
