Raising the bar!

Queen’s Park High School is delighted to celebrate another year of outstanding GCSE results, with our Year 11 students continuing to raise the bar and build on the school’s upward trend in academic excellence. This year’s results are a true testament to the hard work, determination, and resilience of our students, supported every step of the way by our dedicated staff and families.

A record number of students achieved grades 9–7 in English and maths, the highest grades available. Together with, exceptional performances across a wide range of subjects, with record outcomes in Art, PE, and Photography at grades 9–7, 9–5, and 9–4.

We are especially proud of all our students with a special mention to the following Year 11 students:

  • Phoebe Ryder-Barlett – eight 9s and one 8
  • Henry Hardisty – six 9s and three 8s
  • Amy Hunt – three 9s, four 8s and two 7s
  • Annabel Carline – three 9s, four 8s, two 7s and one 6
  • Joe Mayman – two 9s, four 8s, three 7s and one 5

"This year’s results are a wonderful milestone in Queen’s Park High School’s journey of growth and success. They shine a light not only on our culture of high expectations and excellent teaching, but also on the determination, resilience and ambition our students have shown every step of the way. We could not be prouder of each and every one of them—not just for their results, but for the progress they’ve made, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the young people they’ve grown into.

This is a truly special year group who will be deeply missed. At the same time, we are overjoyed that the overwhelming majority have chosen to continue their studies with us in our Sixth Form, and we cannot wait to see them flourish even further. For those heading off to new adventures elsewhere, please remember you will always be part of our Queen’s Park High School family. You will forever hold a place in our community, and we look forward to hearing about all the incredible things you go on to achieve."
