Get ready to be transported back to Victorian England and follow the gripping story of orphan, Oliver Twist as he escapes a workhouse and navigates the criminal underworld of London, encountering characters like Fagin, the Artful Dodger, and Bill Sikes, in this classic Dickensian musical!

'Oliver!' is being brought to life with an outstanding cast, crew and band for 2026! This production is one of the school's most ambitious yet and is supported by our wonderful peers at Chester International School.

Show rehearsals and crew meetings have been underway since September with our cast and crew now firmly established ahead of the production, which will be performed over three nights in February 2026.

Oliver! is a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel Oliver Twist, following the journey of a young orphan in Victorian London. Escaping a harsh workhouse, Oliver falls in with a gang of child pickpockets led by the charismatic but sinister Fagin. As Oliver navigates a world of crime, he encounters the kind-hearted Nancy and the menacing Bill Sikes.

His quest for love, belonging, and identity unfolds through iconic songs like 'Consider Yourself' and 'Food, Glorious Food'. Ultimately, Oliver finds safety and family, highlighting themes of resilience, justice, and compassion in a gritty yet heart-warming tale!
