Celebrating the Class of 2026

At the end of June, both our Year 11 and Year 13 students celebrated their time at Queen’s Park High School with fantastic proms held at the Queen’s Hotel in Chester. While both events took place at the same venue, they were held as separate evenings, giving each year group their own special send-off.

Year 11

Our Year 11 students marked the end of five years at QPHS with a stylish and memorable evening. Dressed to impress, they enjoyed plenty of laughter, dancing and time together reflecting on their journey. Known for their kind nature and strong sense of support for one another, this cohort has been a pleasure to work with.

"This cohort has been a delight to support and guide during their time at QPHS, Tonight, it was an honour to be part of their celebration. Both myself and Mrs. McKay are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and the young adults they have matured into. We wish them all the luck and love as they make new pathways into their future. They leave QPHS not only with academic achievements, but also with the kindness, maturity and teamwork that will serve them well in the future."

Ms DOMELOW, head of year 11

Year 13

Year 13 also celebrated in style, marking the end of their sixth form experience, and for many, seven years as part of our QPHS family. Their evening was filled with joy, shared memories and a real sense of pride in everything they have accomplished.

"It was wonderful to see our Year 13 students celebrating everything they’ve accomplished. They have been a fantastic year group, and we are incredibly proud of them as they move on to the next stage of their lives."

Mrs Prydden, head of sixth form

Both evenings were a fitting celebration of two fantastic year groups. We wish all of our Class of 2026 every success and look forward to celebrating with them again on Results Day in August.
