Gifts of Kindness

Support Christmas Jumper Day and your local food bank, this Friday 13th December.

Friday 13 December is traditional Christmas Jumper Day so Queen's Park High School will be holding a festive themed non-uniform day/Christmas Jumper day for all staff and students in a bid to spread a sprinkling of festive cheer whilst raising money for charity.  We will allow students to dress in Christmas jumpers/festive wear in exchange for a £1 donation. All monies collected will then be split between our chosen charities for this term, Save The Children and Share Shop.

As it's the season of giving, we can't think of a better way to spread the spirit of Christmas than to support our local food bank. We are encouraging all our students to bring in food donations and share a gift of kindness to those local people in crisis this Christmas.

We want to make sure that no one in our local community has to go hungry this Christmas, but we need our staff and students help to make this happen. With our support and gifts of food, we can make a real difference. West Cheshire Food Bank are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, that work to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

On Friday we are encouraging our staff and students to support our drive to help those in need this Christmas and bring to school non-perishable food items which we will collect on entry and then donate to our local Food Bank.
