Work Experience
All students in Years 10 and 12 will have the opportunity to take part in physical or virtual work experience activities. During the Summer Term, students will be expected to spend a week in employment, gaining experience and skills to support decision-making and to inspire them with the opportunities they have.

Friday 17th March 2023 | Deadline to submit self placement paperwork to Mrs Tunnicliffe All students should source their own work experience placement |
Friday 26th May 2023 | Students who have not self-placed will be matched to a placement provided by Career Connect and notified. |

Students are requested to self-place using the guidance provided in the launch assembly and sent to students and parents via Edulink. We have links through The Pledge Partnership to employers in a wide range of sectors to support students with finding placements and both school and Career Connect will give more support to those who, despite their best efforts, have not been able to find an appropriate placement.

Queen's Park High School has access to a National data base containing the Virtual Work Experience placements available for Year 10 - 13 students from employers across the country.
These resources give students access to search, find and apply for virtual work experience placements and inspiring remote insight days with some of the UK's top employers.
